1. Acceptance of Terms

BEFORE USING Legal Experts AI, PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE (“TERMS”) CAREFULLY. THEY FORM A LEGAL AGREEMENT THAT GOVERNS YOUR USE OF Legal Experts AI’S WEBSITE, PLATFORM, AND RELATED SERVICES.

By doing any of the following, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Review & Content Guidelines, and any applicable order form or invoice (together, the “Agreement”):

  • Visiting or using the Legal Experts AI website or related pages
  • Creating an account or profile
  • Using the directory, AI tools, verification, or matching features

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Legal Experts AI

If you accept these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity and its affiliates. In that case, “you” and “your” also refer to that entity. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice. If you continue using the Services after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

2. About Legal Experts AI and the Services

Legal Experts AI (“Legal Experts AI”, “LEAI”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates an online platform intended to:

  • Help clients and organizations identify and evaluate legal professionals and related experts
  • Provide tools for professionals to present their credentials, experience, reviews, and practice focus
  • Offer AI-supported search, matching, and discovery features, as well as optional paid visibility and promotional tools

Legal Experts AI is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Any information, ranking, matching, or AI output is for informational and marketing purposes only and should not be treated as professional legal advice.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Services or create an account.
  • By using the Services, you confirm that you have the capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws that apply to you.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • Keep your account information up to date.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized access or use of your account

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion, including where we believe information is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or used for improper purposes.

5. Your Use of the Services

As a condition of using the Services, you agree to:

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including privacy, advertising, professional ethics, intellectual property, and anti-spam rules

6.1 What Is Your Content

  • Reviews, ratings, comments, feedback
  • Profile information, photos, bios, case summaries, practice descriptions
  • Documents or links you choose to share
  • Messages or information submitted through forms, email, or interviews

User Content may be visible to other users and, in some cases, to the general public and search engines.

6.2 Your Responsibility for User Content

You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit. You agree that:

  • Your content must be accurate, honest, and not misleading
  • You have all the rights, permissions, and authority needed to share it
  • Your content will not violate any third-party rights, confidentiality duties, or court orders

You understand that:

  • Once content is submitted and published, it may not be fully removable, especially if it has been copied or shared by others
  • You may be legally responsible if your content is defamatory, infringes rights, breaches confidentiality, or otherwise violates the law

You agree to indemnify and defend Legal Experts AI against claims arising from your User Content, as further described in the Indemnification section.

We may, but are not required to, review, edit, move, or remove content at our discretion. We are not obligated to store or provide copies of your User Content.

6.3 Your Risk in Using User Content

Content on the platform, including reviews, ratings, and profiles:

  • May contain opinions, interpretations, or incomplete information
  • Is not verified, endorsed, or guaranteed by Legal Experts AI
  • Should not be treated as an objective fact or as a recommendation to choose any particular professional

You assume all risk when relying on or using any User Content, ranking, or listing.

7. Use of Matching, Shortlist, and Consultation Features

Legal Experts AI may offer:

  • AI-assisted or rule-based matching between clients and professionals
  • Shortlists, introductions, or recommendations
  • Consultation or “project brief” submission forms

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Legal Experts AI is a discovery and information platform, not a party to any engagement between clients and professionals
  • Any contract, fee arrangement, or engagement you enter into is solely between you and the counterparty
  • We do not control or guarantee the quality, legality, outcome, or timeliness of any services provided by professionals listed on Legal Experts AI
  • You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence and obtaining independent legal advice where appropriate

8. License You Grant to Legal Experts AI

When you submit User Content, you grant Legal Experts AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to:

  • Use, host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, publicly perform, and publicly display that content
  • Use it in any media or format now known or later developed, in connection with operating, improving, marketing, and promoting the Services

This includes the ability to:

  • Show your reviews and profile content on professional pages
  • Include excerpts in marketing materials, case studies, reports, or research
  • Generate anonymized or aggregated insights for analytics and product development

You understand that we may display advertising near or alongside User Content, and you are not entitled to compensation for this.

9. Feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Services, you agree that:

  • We may use them without restriction
  • We are not required to keep them confidential
  • You will not receive compensation, credit, or ownership rights

You hereby assign any rights you may have in such feedback to Legal Experts AI, to the extent allowed by law.

10. Third Party and Public Data About Professionals

By using the Services as a professional, you acknowledge and agree that Legal Experts AI may:

  • Collect and display publicly available information about you or your firm (for example, from firm websites, public directories, court records, social media, and publications)

11. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to do any of the following, and not to help or encourage others to:

  • Post content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Post or disclose confidential information, privileged communications, or information that you do not have the right to share
  • Infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, publicity, or other rights
  • Manipulate or unduly influence reviews or ratings, including by:
    • a. Offering or accepting compensation in exchange for reviews (except as permitted under our Review & Content Guidelines, where applicable)
    • b. Pressuring clients or peers to change or remove honest feedback
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or scripts that could harm or interfere with the Services
  • Use the Services to send spam, unsolicited promotions, or mass marketing messages
  • Use platform data to create or support a competing directory, ranking engine, or platform without our written permission
  • Attempt to bypass security controls, access another user’s account, or probe our systems
  • Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or affiliations
  • Post reviews about your own firm or about direct competitors where you have a conflict of interest

We may investigate and take action (including suspending accounts or removing content) if we believe you have violated these restrictions.

12. Ownership and Intellectual Property

Except for User Content, the Services and all materials, features, and content on the platform are the property of Legal Experts AI or its licensors, including:

  • Design, layout, software, code, and databases
  • Compilations of listings, rankings, reviews, and metadata
  • Brand elements, trademarks, logos, and trade dress

You agree not to:

  • Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
  • Use Legal Experts AI trademarks or logos without our prior written permission
  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Services except as expressly allowed by these Terms

All third-party names, logos, and marks on the Services are the property of their respective owners.

13. Copyright and IP Complaints

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same.

If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright or other intellectual property infringement, please contact us with:

  • Your name and contact details
  • Identification of the work you claim is infringed
  • Identification of the material you believe is infringing and where it appears on the Services
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf

We may forward your notice to the user who posted the content and may remove or disable access to the content at our discretion. We may also terminate repeat infringers.

14. Sponsored Visibility, Featured Listings, and Incentivized Reviews

Legal Experts AI may offer:

  • Sponsored or featured listings
  • Paid visibility or “boosted” placement
  • Branded badges or promotional features

Key commercial rules for sponsorships, including:

  • Minimum term of any subscription

If you offer discounts, free services, or other incentives in exchange for reviews, you agree to:

  • Make it clear that the review can be positive or negative
  • Require honest opinions from reviewers
  • Ensure that any required disclosure (such as “received discounted services in exchange for review”) is clearly included, in line with applicable advertising and ethics rules

We may publish additional Review & Content Guidelines that apply to all users.

15. Purchase Terms and Payment

We may offer free and paid Services, including subscriptions, verification tiers, advertising, and other add-ons.

Unless stated otherwise in an order form:

  • You agree to pay all applicable fees, taxes, and charges when due
  • You authorize Legal Experts AI and our payment processors to charge your chosen payment method

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue pricing, products, or features, but will honor applicable legal obligations and any commitments in current order forms.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”.
  • We do not make promises or warranties about:
    • a. The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of profiles, reviews, rankings, AI outputs, or other content
    • b. The qualifications, behavior, or performance of any professional listed on the platform
    • c. The suitability or outcome of any engagement between users

We do not promise that:

  • The Services will be uninterrupted, secure, and error-free
  • Defects will always be corrected
  • The Services will be compatible with every device or configuration

If mandatory law requires any warranties, those warranties will apply only for the minimum period required by law and only to the extent necessary.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Legal Experts AI will not be responsible for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, loss of goodwill, data loss, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Services.
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US (IF ANY) IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

These limits apply regardless of the legal theory used (for example, contract, tort, negligence) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. Where those laws apply, the limitations above apply only to the extent permitted.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Legal Experts AI and its officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Services
  • Your Content
  • Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law
  • Your dealings with other users, clients, or professionals through the Services

We may assume exclusive control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense.

19. Links to Third-Party Sites and Services

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites, platforms, or tools (for example, law firm websites, payment gateways, video conferencing tools, or social media).

You understand that:

  • We do not control these third-party services
  • We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices
  • Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and is governed by their own terms and privacy policies

We do not endorse or guarantee any third-party service, product, or content.

20. General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable order form, invoice, or guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and Legal Experts AI regarding the Services and supersede any prior written or verbal agreements on the same subject.

Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part will be interpreted as closely as possible to reflect the original intent, and the rest of the Terms will remain in full force.

No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce any part of these Terms, that does not mean we waive our right to enforce it later.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations without your consent, for example, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
